Susan Brockett

Biography

Susan Brockett, originally from Canada, graduated from Greenwood Highschool in 1997. While at Greenwood Highschool she was active in debate, extemporaneous speaking, and drama.

Her undergraduate education was at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR, where she was a History/Political Science major. During her time at Arkansas Tech, she was the Student Government Vice-President and was active in all facets of campus life including Student Congress, Volunteer Action Council, Student Ambassadors, and Model United Nations. She was recognized as the best delegate at the Midwest Model United Nations competition in St. Louis, MO in 2001 where she competed against universities from across the Midwest United States. Ms. Brockett worked on campus for the Development Office and the Alumni Office and is a 2001 graduate of Arkansas Tech, and proud alum.

Ms. Brockett graduated from the William H. Bowen UALR School of law in 2004. While in law school she was active in the Association of Women Lawyers, and clerked in many areas of the practice law. Her first summer clerkship during law school was in Fort Smith, AR at the Center for Arkansas Legal Services where she helped clients in the area access the legal services that were not available to them elsewhere. Other clerkships include the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office in Little Rock, AR where she was in the consumer protection division.

Before joining Nolan, Caddell & Reynolds, Ms. Brockett practiced in Little Rock, AR for a private firm in the area of insurance defense where she specialized in toxic tort litigation, as well as auto and trucking litigation.

Outside of the office Ms. Brockett enjoys spending time with her children and family, as well traveling

Her volunteer involvement includes the Junior League of Little Rock, Arkansas Children’s Hospital Committee for the Future, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She believes strongly to whom much is given, much is expected.
