Bennett S. Nolan

Biography

Bennett S. Nolan attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry in 1975.  He then attended the University of Arkansas School of Law and was awarded a Juris Doctorate degree in 1978.  Since graduating from law school, Bennett has focused his law practice on helping people who have been injured or harmed by others.  He has successfully handled and secured justice for many people and their families who have claims for personal injury and wrongful death; claims against insurance companies for their refusal to pay benefits, and claims resulting from car wrecks, injuries or death from defective products, medical malpractice, poor nursing home care, and a wide variety of other personal injury and wrongful death cases.  Bennett believes that justice should be for everyone and therefore he accepts pro bono cases for the elderly and infirm who are unable to pay for legal services.

Bennett is a member in good standing of the American Association of Justice, Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, a former member of the Board of Governors of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, Arkansas Bar Association, and Sebastian County Bar Association.  He is currently licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Oklahoma and he holds a license in the District of Columbia.  Bennett not only practices in the state courts, but also in the federal courts in Arkansas, Oklahoma, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Bennett also has a life outside of work which includes his wonderful wife and three boys, two of whom are teenagers and highly active in sports.  He is a member of and attends the First Baptist Church of Fort Smith.
